President Mutharika to open HTD showroom

Competition in the motor industry sector continues to get tough, as more companies are upgrading their facilities and services to woe more customers.

Not wishing to be outdone, one of these companies HTD Limited, who are franchisees of KIA Motors and home to Land rover vehicles, are today unveiling their state of the art showroom facility in Ginnery Corner.

President Peter Mutharika will preside over the inaugural ceremony.

The project has cost the company Millions of Kwacha as it is one of a kind.

HTD Limited is a local, private, limited liability company owned by the Abubakar family which is based in Limbe, incorporated in Malawi in 1993.

According to the company’s official website, HTD Limited uses modern and spacious facilities and leading-edge technology to provide a complete range of before- and after-sales services to meet all customer needs.

It further states that the company comprises a team of over 150 skilled professionals striving for customer satisfaction through a relentless focus on quality and compliance with automakers' international standards of excellence

In August this year, another company Nissan Malawi opened its doors to Malawi at its refurbished showroom in Wenela which previously was home to Stansfield Motors.

Toyota Malawi is also planning to construct a state of the art showroom in Lilongwe.

HTD Limited are distributors of Kia motors, Iveco and Shineray motor bikes in Malawi.
